GASP! Triple Digets Giveaway!

When did this happen?? I looked at my blog today and gave a shout of happiness when I realized my followers were up to 96. Eee!

I feel so loved :)

And in honor of almost being at 100 followers I'm going to give someone, a very special someone, a $15 giftcard from Amazon! I mean hey, that's good for two or three books.

All you have to do is be a follower, pass word on (twitter/blog/whatever) (and no, you don't have to post a link mostly because I probably wouldn't go check. I am the trusting sort ;) and give me one suggestion for an awesome book I need to read.

(And no, Sophia, you can't say Sea/Spy Glass because you know I haven't read them yet. That would be cheating...sort of.)

I'll let the random.org pick the winner next Wednesday.

Good luck!

  1. hahahahahaha

I so was not going to say that!

I'm obsessed with Exit Strategy (Nadia Stafford series) by Kelley Armstrong. She's another writer whose every single work is devourable. She usually does paranormal, but the NS series is about a lady hitman. I'll review when I'm done.

Okay promoting your giveaway b/c I reaaaaalllllllly need to get some books on Amazon. Give me extra CP points. :)

  2. Congrats :) What a mile stone! Okay, here is my book suggestion: MOONRAKERS BRIDE by Madeleine Brent. This is a wonderful unknown book. It is a little hard to find, but worth it.

  3. Congrats! :D

My favorite books are The Light Bearer and Lady of the Light by Donna Gillespie. The writing is absolutely beautiful, and the characters are awesome :)

  4. Yay, congrats! Thanks for the giveaway. :)

I'm not very good at recommendations... hmm. Oh, I know! One of my favorite books to read as a teen was Eloise McGraw's Mara, Daughter of the Nile. I checked it out from the library soooo many times, though I tended to skip the boring parts and just obsessively reread the sections I liked, haha. Mara and Sheftu are awesome!

  10. Apart from my thriller, you mean, which you're already reading, right? Right. The only 2 books that spring to mind are Perfume by Patrick Suskind and The Book Thief (forgotten the author's name, but he's an Aussie). Perfume is an adult book. Some people say The Book Thief is a children's book, but I don't think so. I'll put something on Facebook to promote the competition. I really need that $15.

  11. Yay, congrats! I feel like a broken record because I've been telling everyone they need to read Game of Thrones for the last month, but it's basically the bomb-dot-com, so go for it :)

  12. I'm a new follower, I tweeted this post, and I recomment John Harwood's The Seance to everyone who will listen--it's like a modern take on the Victorian ghost story/gothic novel, and it rules.

  13. Congrats on the triple digits!!!

I haven't read Chime yet, but Alz quite liked it and she's the most critical reader I know, which means I'm willing to recommend it blind. Haha. I also just finished Graceling and loved it, so that's my suggestion. :)

    Thanks for the giveaway!
