I feel some books work better when I just have at it, while other stories really benefit from having a good outline.
I think it's fun to experiment with both methods to varying degrees.
- CholisoseRose Transposehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12407160856474044813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8134980047130728930.post-62138349973399025532011-07-09T15:38:01.535-07:002011-07-09T15:38:01.535-07:00Now I'm curious, what exactly is the line that...Now I'm curious, what exactly is the line that separates pantser from plotter? How much plotting is really required of a plotter.

I've sketched out vague ideas for my WIP but nothing indepth. I'm sure this still places this WIP in the pantser category.Juliana L. There's something really satisfying to it. BUT if I'm serious about making a story work and the best it can be, I plot like mad and know my characters inside out BEFORE I start writing. It takes some of the surprise and romance out of the first draft, but it sure makes it darn easier in the end! :)PK HREZOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11650153097981426833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8134980047130728930.post-35578943808729488782011-07-08T21:24:29.650-07:002011-07-08T21:24:29.650-07:00I'm a total plotter, but I have total respect ...I'm a total plotter, but I have total respect for pantser.
